A young pastor humbly following in Skogsbergh's footstepsJeremy Berg  is a husband, daddy, pastor, teacher, and writer with a passion to unleash Jesus’ original kingdom vision for greater impact in the 21st century church and culture.

Jeremy is the founder and lead pastor of MainStreet Covenant Church in Mound, MN, where he has served since 2010. He is currently doing doctoral studies with renowned New Testament scholar Scot McKnight at Northern Seminary. Jeremy obtained an M.A. in Theological Studies (Bethel Seminary, 2005) and B.A. in Biblical & Theological Studies (Bethel University, 2002).  Jeremy is an ordained minister in the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC). Most importantly, he is happily married to Kjerstin and the proud daddy of Peter, Isaak and Abigail.

Jeremy and Keri began planting MainStreet Covenant Church in his hometown in the summer of 2010 and launched weekly services in January 2012. Read about the church planting journey here. Prior to church planting, Jeremy was the senior high youth pastor at Faith Covenant Church in Burnsville, MN (2007-2010). Before that he used his influence as a teacher, coach, driving instructor, and youth pastor in his hometown of Mound, MN, to launch the Revolution (2005-2007), a grassroots youth movement uniting local teens around the message of the Jesus.

In his free time, Jeremy enjoys reading, writing, guitar, golfing, browsing used book stores, chasing his kids around and hours on the lawn tractor mowing and listening to nerdy theological podcasts.
