Jeremy and his fun, spunky wife Kjerstin (Keri) have three children — Peter, Isaak and Abigail. Jeremy enjoys jangly electric guitars, sparkling beverages, the smell of old books, reading to his kids, watching PBS Masterpiece with his wife, and endless hours listening to podcasts on his lawn tractor. In a previous life, Jeremy was the all-time leading scorer in basketball for his high school. These days he prefers golf, but will challenge anyone to a 3-point shootout.

Jeremy considers himself a “big tent evangelical” with a deep appreciation for the Great Tradition of Christian Theology. He is an adventurous reader, probing the latest in New Testament scholarship while digging back into the early Church Fathers or Medieval mystics. “All truth is God’s truth,” Jeremy says, “So let’s go dig it up!” Some of Jeremy’s biblical and theological influences include Scot McKnight, N. T. Wright, Stanley Hauerwas, C. S. Lewis, Eugene Peterson, Dallas Willard, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and Greg Boyd.
