Daily Spark: “Escaping the Echo Chamber”

"The time will come when people will not put up with sound teaching. They will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear" (2 Tim 4:3).

Some conversations are uncomfortable, and we naturally surround ourselves with people who reinforce our beliefs and convictions. Yet, growth happens when we let ourselves hear other perspectives and learn to lower our defense mechanisms. In this video, Jeremy invites us to ponder the words of Paul:

“For the time will come when people will not put up with sound teaching. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear” (2 Tim 4:3).
